How We Began

The Toy Barn® began with a simple truth: enthusiasts and collectors invest in incredible cars, motorcycles, RVs, and more, but often lack a space that reflects the pride they take in them. Our founders had the foresight to create something that filled that need. Not just more space, but a secure, high-end environment for those who expect more from their car storage.

With decades of experience in real estate development, they created a new kind of garage community. One where ownership brings value, quality, and connection. What started as a single location has grown into a network of luxury garage condos across Arizona, each offering security, privacy, and shared spaces where members come together to talk cars, attend events, and connect over shared passions.

The History Behind Toy Barn

The Toy Barn® was founded by Paul Phillips and Jason Phillips through their family-owned real estate firm, Wesley Development Company. With decades of experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use development, they brought a clear understanding of construction, market potential, and community-focused design. 

In 2003, they launched the first Toy Barn project with a simple idea. They recognized a growing need for high-end vehicle storage tailored to passionate collectors. Traditional options were limited, and owners wanted something more secure, more exclusive, more flexible, and more permanent.

That insight sparked a new kind of garage concept rooted in ownership, privacy, and lifestyle. Today, Toy Barn is the industry-leading developer of luxury garage condominium communities, with multiple thriving locations across Arizona and a growing network of loyal owners and car enthusiasts.
